The Scientific and Methodological Center of Scientific, Scientific and Technical Activities Organization

The Scientific and Methodological Center of Scientific, Scientific and Technical Activities Organization is the structural unit of the National Defenсe University of Ukraine, which is aimed to coordinate and control the scientific and scientific and technical activities, its scientific and methodological, informational and analytical support, as well as to maintain cooperation on scientific and scientific and technical activities of the University, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff structural subdivisions and other military authorities, research institutions and higher educational establishments of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and other central executive branches.

THE MAIN TASKS OF THE CENTER ARE:

  • planning and organization of scientific, scientific and technical activities of the University;
  • training organization of scientific and pedagogical and scientific personnel of the highest qualification in the postgraduate military course, doctoral studies and obtaining the doctor and candidate of sciences degrees, including foreign citizens’ training and the scientific personnel higher qualification support;
  • participation in the state order formation for the scientific personnel higher qualification training;
  • military and training activities coordination of military students;
  • organization of the University innovation activities;
  • preparation for collections of research papers and scientific journals publication;
  • organization and methodological support of patent and license, inventive and rationalization activities of the University;
  • organization of scientific and scientific and technical expertise;
  • testing of weapons and special protective materials;
  • providing of scientific and methodological management of academic, scientific and supporting departments of the University in scientific, and technical activities;
  • organization of scientific forums, conferences, seminars, round tables etc. in the University;
  • conduct of advanced training courses concerning scientific and scientific and technical activities organization.

STRUCTURE OF THE CENTER:

  1. Scientific Department of Research Organization. It includes a Research and Innovation Laboratory.
  2. The Scientific Department of training organization and pedagogical staff certification.
  3. Research and Testing Department.
